Effect of Lateral Thinking Dispositions on Groupwork

The aim of this study is to compare the effect lateral thinking dispositions on groupwork in a collaborative learning environment from different angles as quantitatively and qualitatively line with methodological pluralism. population included freshmen students studying Gastronomy Culinary Arts Tourism Faculty state university. was conducted three samples within scope pluralism including data triangulation (for SPSS analysis: N= 83- all universe-; for thematic 66- selected voluntary basis depending response sampling-; Rasch 16 accepting participate aspect voluntarily 3 faculty members who have responsibilities students). In quantitative phase, descriptive analysis performed through Measurement Model program while qualitative part study, case approach under checklist COREQ Statement. results indicated LATD (Lateral Thinking Dispositions) scores graduating tourism or cooking related vocational high schools having work experience were higher than their counterparts not had no beforehand. Qualitative showed consistency results. Teachers are suggested be trained so that skills can implemented class environment.
